The Wah Yan College, Kowloon Chess Team was founded in 2008 by Leung Ho Yan Andrew, together with Raymond Or and Kingsley Koon. After graduation of Andrew, the team runs on the basis where former Seniors would come back and teach the juniors.

We participate in many different competitions every year. There are a lot to learn in the competitions. Not only learning the knowledge on the chess board, but also the sportsmanship, patience, strategic thinking which are all crucial to win a game.

Furthermore, we also do several things to help promote chess in Hong Kong.
